The debate is back on about whether children with head lice should go to school or be kept home.
The Canadian Pediatric Society says there is no medical rationale for keeping kids with lice out of school.
Now, some school boards including Toronto, are re-evaluating their “no nit” policies.
Founder of Lice Squad of Barrie, Dawn Mucci says it seems like common sense to her.
She says kids may lose a couple of days of school while the lice is treated so it wouldn’t be a huge deal.
Mucci says there are special combs and products that will get rid of head lice within a couple of days.
Lice is spread by head to head contact like sharing hats and combs.
