A paramedic is facing charges in the wake of a collision involving a car and an ambulance.
South Simcoe Police say the collision happened Wednesday morning at around 10:30 at Innisfil Beach Road and 5 Sideroad.
The ambulance collided with the car, sending both vehicles crashing into some utility poles.
No serious injuries were reported, and there was no patient in the ambulance at the time.
The paramedic driving the ambulance is charged with failing to stop at a red light.
