A man charged in connection with a garage explosion in Barrie has been sentenced to 5 years in jail – less pre-trial custody.
Barrie Police also report he is banned from owning firearms.
He had previously pleaded guilty to one arson count and two drug related charges.
The explosion happened at a home on Collete Crescent on March 13, 2015.
Four people were in the garage, while eight children and two adults were in the house when the explosion happened.
Three co-accused are still awaiting trial.
