I’m sure you’ve seen them all around Barrie.
They’re often on the 400 northbound off ramp to Bayfield. They’re also on Mapleview around the 400 interchange….and several other areas around town.
I’m talking about the people who are walking on the side of the road, carrying the signs that say that they are homeless / need money / donations welcome etc…
Now, I’ve seen them many a time – today was a little different though. Normally, they just walk on the sidewalk and that’s it – today, the guy was going up to car windows to show them his sign. It kind of startled me a bit to turn and see this sign right in my window.
Question for you – what do you do when you see them? Do you give them cash? Do you give them food? Do you find something else in your car to look at so you don’t even have to look at them?
