There’s a company called “Memphis Meats” that has found a new way to put meat on your table.
Just last week they introduced the world’s first meatball made from 100 percent lab-grown beef.
Lab grown beef produces 90 percent less greenhouse emissions than traditional meat production.
But having lab grown beef on your table isn’t going to be happening too soon – it’s very expensive to produce. For example, one pound of ground beef costs $18,000 bucks. Yikes.
