This is not the first time this has happened to me…the first time was about 2 years ago.
I’ll be honest, I’m surprised it happened again.
Over the weekend, I was in the parking lot of the Walmart store on Bayfield street here in Barrie. I noticed that the wheels on my car were all ‘gummed up’ with snow. Lots of it. Snow and ice.
So, I decided to kick the stuff off.
A woman who was walking out of the store and back to her car angrily said to me…
“They just plowed the lot – why don’t you do that at home in your own driveway instead of making a mess here?”
I’ll be honest, I do it at home all the time…but, of course, as you drive, more builds up so it has to be kicked out. So, that’s what I was doing.
I’m not the yelling type so I only responded with ‘thanks for sharing your thoughts.”
….and off she went to her car shaking her head.
So, tell me honestly… I can take it. Was I wrong to kick the snow and ice off my wheel wells?
