South Simcoe Police are out with a public caution after a quantity of methadone was stolen out of a car on Wednesday in Bradford.
The resident had her supply of the drug taken from her car on Gordon Court.
The methadone was stored in a grey lock box, with two locks on it, behind the front seat of her car.
The drug is in two red bottles with white lids.
The car was unlocked.
Methadone is similar to morphine.
Methadone may cause a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder and may cause headaches with chest pain, severe dizziness, and fast or pounding heartbeats.
