The sit -in continues at Laurentian University at Georgian in Barrie.
Students have occupied the administration officers since Thursday morning to protest what they feel is the school’s insufficient program options for students after the school leaves Barrie.
The student union wants all Barrie students to be able to complete their programs at the local campus.
While some will be able to do that, over 200 students have been told they would have to re-locate to Sudbury.
The students plan to continue the peaceful occupation.
There is also an on line petition with over one thousand signatures asking the Laurentian Board of Governors to treat all of its students fairly.
Laurentian announced its decision to leave the city, last Friday.
