A Collingwood couple is in the midst of training for the upcoming Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer in June.
Its the largest cycling fundraiser in Canada.
Louis Moreau beat cancer and says this is a way to give back and raise money for the Princess Margaret Cancer Center.
He credits cancer research for curing him of non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
His wife Celine Corteau says the trip is from Toronto to Niagara Falls and they welcome local cyclists to train with them.
She says you don’t have to be expert cyclists to take part.
While the trip is 200 km there is no time limit on when to complete it.
The couple hopes to raise at least 5 thousand dollars for the cause.
They are offering to cater a meal on people’s homes in return for a donation or search for ” The Cooks” here.
