A library in Denmark is trying something different – you can now take out people – yes, people – instead of books.
Here’s how it works:
You look through a list of experiences that you’d like to know about and once you choose one, you go to a discussion room to meet the “human” you ‘checked out.’
Then, you spend 30 minutes talking to them about their experiences.
The library offers tons of people you can talk to ranging from funeral directors to prostitutes, and politician to little children.
So, do you think it’s an idea that the Barrie Public Library should look at trying?
