Barrie music teacher Damian Spaulding can already hear the music coming from the Central School for the Arts.
He wants to purchase the school, which closes this June, and turning it into a Kindergarten to grade 12 school offering dance,
drama and music.
The vision for the 150 year old school will include a lot of updating and remodeling.
A fundraising campaign to collect 12 million dollars is underway even though the school hasn’t been put up for sale yet by the
Simcoe County District School Board.
It would be a private school.
Spaulding is hoping to have it open by this September.
