The storm cleanup continues.
If you get your downed branches to the curb, the county of Simcoe will pick it up on Monday, April 4th.
They will concentrate mainly on the hardest hit areas in South Simcoe.
That includes Essa, Innisfil, New Tecumseth, Adjala-Tosorontio and Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Wilma Bureau says the brush does need to be cut into a manageable size.
That would be 2 m. long and not bigger than 12 cm in diameter.
Large branches or trees will not be collected.
Residents can also take their own brush to County waste management facilities at no charge.
If residents missed Good Friday waste collection there will be double the garbage limit allowed to be put out on Friday, April 1st.
Spoiled foods as the result of power outages can be put out forj collection on regular collection day in the green bin.
If you have more than that, put it in compostable bags marked clearly as organic.
