For years now, there’s been much debate about genetically modified foods.
I’ll be honest, I’ve never really seen this issue as ‘black and white’ as others have. I am just on the fence about it.
But there’s more news about it…
By October, you’ll probably be seeing a new kind of potato at the grocery store. Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have approved a genetically modified potato from an American company.
This potato won’t turn brown inside, and is less likely to bruise.
This is not the first GM product in stores – last year, the Arctic Apple came out – it’s been modified to prevent browning.
