It’s no big surprise but lots of people find the nutrition labels on food kind of confusing…some saying there’s just too much information and others saying they don’t know what to do with the information given.
That being said, a group in the UK is lobbying the government to change their food labels – to something they say everyone would understand.
The plan is to make it so that labels say how much exercise you have to do to burn the calories that the food contains.
For example, if you eat a donut that has 300 calories, you’d have to walk for 51 minutes to burn off the calories….or you could run for 16 minutes.
So, good idea or bad idea?
Would you like to see those labels here in Canada?
