Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes. I remember literally hiding from visitors right after my first baby was born. Our house was listed at the time so that made it tricky! I remember bursting into tears when my mom asked me how breast feeding was going. (Not good, obviously.) I remember the BEST thing a friend ever did for me was after I had my second baby. She showed up with a pan of home made mac and cheese, all I had to do was heat it up. Now THAT is a good friend to a new mom. Lots of people offered to help but I always said no.
