I needed this today. I am the first to admit that I’m not perfect, my family is not perfect, my house is most often a disaster and yes, I’ve had mommy moments that I am NOT proud of. But that makes me real. And that helps me learn and think about how I can handle things differently the next time.
If I’m being perfectly honest, I have cut out a “Perfect Mom” that I was once friends with. “Her girls” would NEVER play in mud or run around screaming or do anything else that my little boys did. I constantly felt judged by her…hence cutting her out. 😉
