For their own safety – both physical and their mental wellness, certain milestones in a child’s life are not meant to be shared with the world. I always consider this when posting pictures (Yes, I’m guilty of posting A LOT of pictures of my kids) but I always ask myself, will it embarass them? Will it give out too much personal information? As this article points out, once things are posted on line they are out there FOREVER. Some things should be saved for the baby book 😉
We live in a world where snapping photos of your kids and posting them to social media is about as natural to parents as kissing a boo boo. But while sharing shots of little ones at birthday parties, wearing new outfits, or exploring the zoo is cute, some moments should remain private.
