When I’m not on-air, I’m Fresh Radio’s resident “music nerd.” My desk is in an open concept area. Behind me two women co-workers were talking about something… and one of them said really loudly “Cheese Strings are on sale at Walmart.” But what I heard was “G-STRINGS” instead.
Then I hear the other woman say back “16 packs are on sale at (insert grocery store here.)”
I think to myself… they sell G-Strings at supermarkets now!? And who needs 16 of them! And why are these women having such an open conversation about underwear at work?
After asking what they were really talking about… we all had a good laugh over it.
So… when’s the last time YOU misheard something like THIS at work?
