You’ve seen them – people who walking along and are so busy on their smartphones that they don’t really notice intersections.
Augsburg is a small town in Germany and it has found a way to keep those pedestrians using smartphones safe.
They are now installing traffic lights in the pavement to make them visible to people constantly looking down at their phones.
Some people think it’s a great idea – others think that smartphone users should be looking up.
So, should we be putting traffic lights in the ground at intersections here in Barrie?
