You know the classic scene of graduating students tossing their hats in the air?

Well, you won’t see it the University of East Anglia in England.
They’ve told their students they were banning cap-throwing after “a number of injuries over recent years to graduates hurt by falling mortarboards.”
Students were upset about this so the school came up with a compromise – the graduates could mime the throwing motion and the caps would be digitally added later.
Really? I think this is just complete paranoia and it’s a dumb rule.
But maybe I’m just ‘careless.’
