The group looking at building a performing arts school is no longer looking at Barrie Central as its location.
But that’s not the end of the vision.
Damien Spaulding says he’s been meeting with an international investor interested in contributing 10 million dollars a year over the next few years to build a multi use arts facility.
It could be 10 years in the making.
Spaulding says there will likely be a name change from Central School of the Arts now that they won’t be using the school which closes this week.
Fundraising details and a strategic plan are still to come.
