Lower airfares prompted more Canadians to travel internationally.
About 3.8 million Canadians traveled outside the country, that’s up about 6% from last year.
The low loonie though, has made Canada quite an attractive place to travel to.
American visits to Canada went up almost 20% between January and March.
International visitors to Canada went up 10% over 2015.
