Boxing Legend and arguably the world’s greatest athlete, Muhammad Ali has died.
He passed away on Friday night at the age of 74.
Tributes across the world are pouring in including former U.S. president Bill Clinton saying Ali brought ‘a blend of beauty and grace, speed and strength that may never be matched again’.
Widely known as ” The Greatest”, Ali was a three time heavyweight champion and won the Olympic gold medal in 1960.
Ali had several matches across the globe, including one in Toronto at the Maple Leaf Gardens against George Chuvalo in 1966.
Outside of the ring, Ali also stung like a bee when boxing against social justice issues.
Muhammad Ali suffered from Parkinson’s disease for several years and was recently hospitalized on Thursday in Phoenix with respiratory problems.
A memorial service for the three time heavyweight champion will be held on Wednesday June 8th in Ali’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
