Well 20 years is a long enough time to go without updating Canada’s Sun Safety Guidelines. Who came up with these? Well the Canadian Cancer Society, along with 27 other organizations.
So what are some of the big changes?
1) Avoid the sun between 11am and 3pm when the UV index is 3 or more.
2) Sunblock is okay… but CLOTHING is better. And a hat for sure!
3) You should be wearing an SPF of 30 or more.
