Barrie’s newest public art piece will be installed in its permanent home along the city’s waterfront in Heritage park.
The piece- called the Sea Serpent – goes up Monday.
An official unveiling event will be held on Tuesday June 28, and is open to the public.
Speakers at the event include Mayor Jeff Lehman and Ted Handy of the public art committee.
The steel sculpture was originally created for Expo’86 by local artist Ron Baird.
