Instead of buying a $5 Million Super Bowl ad, Heinz has decided to invest that into it’s employees by giving them the day off on the Monday after the Super Bowl!
It’s estimated that 16.5 Million people called in sick the day after Super Bowl Sunday.
This year, Heinz is just giving their peeps the day off. I dig it!
The company released a statement about the day after the Super Bowl becoming a national holiday. “We wanted to get behind an initiative that we know people feel strongly about. The Heinz brand doesn’t settle on delivering superior taste or quality, and we don’t believe America should have to settle on the day after the best sports day of the year.”
