The man who beheaded and cannibalized a fellow Greyhound passenger in 2008 has been released.
Will Baker (formerly known as Vince Li) has been granted release without monitoring. The courts ruled that as long as he stays on his medication he is not a threat to the general public.
Baker was found not criminally responsible for his actions in 2008 due to mental health reasons, and has spent time in a high security mental health facility in Manitoba. Li legally changed his name to Will Baker in February of 2016 and had since been released in November with monitoring, to ensure he took his medication.
