From Iron Man to the animals! Robert Downey Jr is set to take over the Dr Doolittle franchise from Eddie Murphy.
Vanity Fair reports that Universal Studios won the rights to Doctor Doolittle and are planning a big budget remake of the franchise that could see a price tag of more than $160 million. The last time we saw the doctor on the big screen was in 1998 and 2001 when Eddie Murphy played the role.
Production on the movie is likely to begin next year, after RDJ finishes two installments of his OTHER massive box office smash, Avengers: Infinity War.
