A Waterloo based developer bought the properties of Barrie Central and prince Of Wales schools from the Simcoe County District School Board for $5.8 million. The sale closed on January 31, and the purchaser had not been identified until now.
HIP Developments is planning to build a rental residence on the site. The company plans to call the development ‘Barrie Central, Modern Bayside Residence’ located downtown Barrie at 125 Dunlop Street West.
