A number of services are affected by holiday weekends. The following City services will be affected this Easter weekend:
There will be no Transit service on Good Friday, April 14 or Easter Sunday, April 16.
There will be no garbage, organics, recycling and yard waste collection on Good Friday, April 14 in Barrie. Collection for this day will occur on Saturday, April 15. Collection will occur as usual on Easter Monday, April 16, and will remain on the regular schedule throughout the week.
Allandale Recreation Centre, East Bayfield Community Centre and the Holly Community Centre will be open for drop-in activities during normal operating hours throughout the Easter weekend, including fitness centres and drop-in fitness classes. Downtown parking (on-street and lots) is free on all statutory holidays. Waterfront parking is enforced 24/7/365; residents must display their permits and visitors are required to pay $3/hour (daily maximum: $15). Visit www.barrie.ca/parking for details.
Barrie City Hall will be closed on Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 16.
