The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is looking at its options with their relationship with the County Of Simcoe.
The town’s mayor says that with the current plan residents could see a tax increase of 7.4% to the County. He says that’s twice as much as some of the other communities with the same services.
Staff will be looking for a better deal, and also looking at if becoming an independent municipality is a possibility. Or perhaps if joining York Region will be a better option.
