Premier Kathleen Wynne has been in contact with many communities that have been affected by flooding over the weekend.
A state of emergency is in effect in Minden Hills. Streets are under water and the town is asking people not to drive because it’s too dangerous to do so. More than 10,000 sandbags have been supplied to the residents there.
Rivers have gone over their banks in Ramara Township due to high water levels in Lake Simcoe.
Parts of Severn, Muskoka and Kawartha Lakes have also been seeing some localized flooding.
In Port McNicoll there’s been a water break break. You can expect reduced water pressure until Monday at 7pm.
