Shortly after 2:30am on Wednesday a Barrie Police officer was approached by a drunk and panicked female. She had dropped her phone down the patio at a downtown business.
The officer was working with City Of Barrie employees at the time and said he couldn’t leave what he was doing, but offered her advice on how to get her phone back.
She became upset and punched the driver’s side mirror of the city work truck.
The officer placed her under arrest for mischief, which made her even more upset.
Paramedics attempted to bandage her hand but she wasn’t co-operative. But first responders did make sure she got home safe.
