A man arrested after shooting his brother and leading police on a chase from Toronto to Orillia yesterday morning has been charged with 34 offenses.
Police say a woman was also shot in a carjacking before the suspect took off. He stopped the car and shot at officers around Highway 400 and Rutherford.
The stolen car crashed into a number of other vehicles along the 400 and Highway 11 before police used a spike belt to stop it just south of Memorial Avenue in Orillia. A gun was recovered nearby.
Kristian Jarvis faces three counts of attempted murder, assault and a number of gun-related offenses.
