The Ontario Municipal Board has made a decision in favor of Burl’s Creek Event Grounds for the Temporary Use By-law, which will take effect once the two conditions contained in the OMB’s Order have been met.
Based on the approval of the Temporary use by-law application, Burl’s Creek has zoning permission to hold events until December 2018.
Township staff and Council will need time to review the OMB decision in further detail.
The next steps for the Township will include working with the County of Simcoe with respect to Burl’s Creek’s Permanent Use By-law applications.
The Township cannot estimate when a decision might be finalized for the PUB applications at this time.
