On Friday, July 28th, a South Simcoe Police Service Traffic Unit officer was conducting speed enforcement on Yonge Street in Churchill.
He watched as a speeding car passed another as it entered the 60 km/h zone of the residential area.
He activated his lights and began to follow the car; it continued speeding and passed three other cars.
He eventually caught up to the car after it had registered a speed of 115 km/h on his radar.
A 68-year-old woman from Sutton was charged with speeding and stunt driving.
Her driver’s licence was suspended for 7 days and her car impounded.
She will appear in court in August.
