Maple Leaf is recalling Chicken Breast Strips as it may the toxin produced by Staphylococcus bacteria.
The recall comes after a consumer complaint.
There have been reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
Consumers should not consume this product, and throw it out immediately.

Food contaminated with Staphylococcus toxin may not look or smell spoiled. The toxin produced by Staphylococcusbacteria is not easily destroyed at normal cooking temperatures. Common symptoms of Staphylococcus poisoning are nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping and fever. In severe cases of illness, headache, muscle cramping and changes in blood pressure and pulse rate may occur.
